If there’s one word that defines the zeitgeist, it’s surely coworking. And, as we like to capture the spirit of the times, we’re dedicated to covering the scene. Profiling one of the latest spaces to open in the Gran Canaria capital, GoCoworking.
We are not digital nomads. Yet we’ve championed their cause more than any other blog about the island. From being one of the partners of the inaugural Nomad City to informing readers about new coworking spaces opening like ReStation. And now GoCoworking.
1. GoCoworking: where it’s at
If there’s a lovelier street in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria than Calle Perojo, a mere five-minute walk from the main bus station at Parque San Telmo, than we’ve yet to find it. Located halfway down this road, GoCoworking is in the heart of this mainly residential thoroughfare. The space’s postal address is Calle Perojo 25 and telephone number, +34 828 909 056.
2. GoCoworking: what
This exciting start-up is already attracting some loyal members, with our visit coinciding with running into coworkers hailing from Arucas, Barcelona, and California. There’s a kitchen where you can help yourself to fresh fruit and coffee and prepare food. Along with air-con, high-speed Internet in rooms charmingly named after island beaches (El Confital, Güigüi, Las Canteras, and Maspalomas) and stylishly decorated with exposed-stone walls, and a chill-out roof terrace where you can recline on deckchairs and take in views of Vegueta‘s Catedral de Santa Ana.
3. GoCoworking: when
GoCoworking opened on 15th June 2017. Super-friendly owners Blanca and Claudia who are both fluent in English, cousins and recent business graduates, are on hand to help from the hours of 9:00am and 5:00pm Monday to Friday. Although, you can enter the facilities 24/7.
